The problem

Class shows you moves. Nobody shows you the map.

You learn an armbar on Tuesday and it's gone by Thursday. You know five techniques but not when to use which, or what to do when the first one fails. Most of jiu-jitsu happens between the moves: what they do, and what you switch to.

JitsFlow puts the whole picture in your pocket, so the time between classes counts.

Attack chains

If they defend like this, go there.

Every attacking position has a tree of what to do next. Start with the setup, and each branch shows how they'll react and what you switch to.

The defense view

See it from underneath, too.

Flip any position and the same tree shows what they'll go for, how to stop each attack, and what they'll switch to when you do. 38 escapes and submission defenses, and anything you log as tapping you links straight to its defense.

Belt curriculum

From your first class to black belt.

  • 74 white→blue techniques: survive, escape, a few moves that work
  • 31 blue→purple: build a guard and passing systems
  • 18 purple→brown: chains, counters, leg locks
  • 14 brown→black: finishing against people who know the defense

Each technique has steps, the details that make it work, common mistakes, a drill and a video. Each belt explains what coaches look for.

How it works

Ten minutes off the mat, twice a week.

  1. Rate what you know

Five minutes, once. JitsFlow sees your gaps and builds your weekly plan around your class days.

  2. Study before class

Review a few cards, read the steps, watch the video, trace the chain. Walk in knowing what you're working on.

  3. Log after class

What was taught, what worked, what tapped you, where you got stuck. JitsFlow points you to what to study next.

Who it's for

Built for people with jobs.

No-gi first

Every technique and video is chosen for no-gi. Most of it carries straight over to the gi.

Training 2–3 times a week

Spaced review and a weekly plan make the days off count, without living at the gym.

The stage where a map helps most, with brown and black belt material for when you get there.

Does it replace my coach?

No. JitsFlow is for study between classes. Coaches teach details differently, so moves where that matters are flagged with "Check with your coach", and each belt has a coach review list to go through together.

Where do coaches sign in?

Tap Coach sign in at the top of this page. New coaches choose Start a gym, then send students the invite link from the Coach tab's Gym page.

What does it cost?

It's free to use, with no account needed.

Where's my data?

On your phone. Nothing is uploaded. Settings › Backup copies everything so you can move it to another device.

Does it work at the gym with no signal?

Yes. Once opened, JitsFlow works offline. Videos need a connection.

How do I put it on my home screen?

iPhone: open jitsflow.com in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Android: open it in Chrome and tap Install app. It opens full screen, like any app.

Who made the videos?

Instructors on YouTube. JitsFlow links each move to a clear instructional video and plays it from YouTube; the videos belong to their creators.

Is it safe to learn leg locks from an app?

Learn the basics here, but always learn finishes, especially heel hooks, from a coach in person. JitsFlow deliberately leaves out heel hook finishing directions. Tap early in training.
