Mount attack chain: arm triangle, armbar, back take
Three mount attacks linked so each defense opens the next. Use it once your mount is stable instead of forcing a single submission.
Mount Submission
Step by step
- From high mount, push one of their arms across their neck and drop your head beside it to set the arm triangle.
- If they straighten the other arm to push you away, step up to S-mount on that side and attack the armbar.
- If they turn away to escape the armbar, follow the turn, put your hooks in and take a seatbelt.
- If they pull the first arm back, keep your weight high and go back to the arm triangle on the other side.
- Whichever finish you land, finish slowly: the choke squeezes on, the armbar lifts the hips gently.
Details that make it work
- Each defense opens the next attack. Read what they give you instead of forcing one move.
- Stay high in mount. Low mount gives them room to bridge.
Common mistakes
- Chasing one attack past the point where they've defended it.
- Shifting to S-mount without controlling the arm first.
Drill it
Chain drill: partner defends each attack in turn, you flow arm triangle, armbar, back. 5 slow cycles each side.
