Armbar from mount
From high mount, isolate one arm, step to S-mount, and sit back into the armbar. It's the classic finish when they push on you.
Mount Submission
Step by step
- From high mount, push one arm across their body; hug it to your chest.
- Step into S-mount: one knee up beside their head, the other foot tucked under their side.
- Swing your leg over their face and sit back, knees squeezed and their arm tight to you.
- Thumb up, hips up. Slow.
Details that make it work
- Stay heavy in S-mount. Sitting back too early lets them escape.
- Squeeze your knees together the whole time.
Common mistakes
- Sitting back with space between your butt and their shoulder.
- Letting go of the arm when they roll.
Drill it
5 reps each side.
