Guillotine (arm-in / high elbow)

A front choke from the front headlock: their head under your armpit, your forearm on their throat. Arm-in (one of their arms trapped inside) is tighter and harder to defend.

Step by step

  1. From the front headlock, wrap the neck with your forearm under their chin; trap one of their arms inside (arm-in) if you can.
  2. Grip your hands together (palm to palm or your wrist).
  3. Hips back, pull up into the throat with your forearm, lift your elbow.
  4. Finish standing by arching back, or sit to guard and finish there.

Details that make it work
